Literature review on methods for the measurement of high temperature surface reactivity

Review to explore the techniques and microreactor designs suitable for measuring reaction kinetics of high temperature, short contact time catalytic reactors. The review consists of four parts:

1. kinetic studies of ammonia oxidation,
2. catalytic partial oxidation of CH4 at short contact times,
3. oxidative dehydrogenation of ethane at short contact times (sct ODH), and
4. a critical analysis of laboratory reactor designs for the kinetic study of high temperature catalytic processes: the annular reactor, the diluted packed-bed reactor, and the ultra-diluted packed-bed reactor.
