Very thorough extensive literature review on thermogravimetry. After an introduction the techniques and equipments are explained: thermogravimetry, DTA/DSC, and evolution gas analysis (EGA). Chapter 3 deals with the theoretical background of the kinetics models for heterogenous reactions in relation with thermogravimetry. Chapter 4 describes isothermal and non-isothermal methoids for kinetic analysis. Chapter 5, finally, shows a number of applications.
