The aim of this work is to determine the operating conditions that allow to obtain a sustained periodic instability, called limit cycle. The latter appears as a periodical variation maintained by the state of the system. The reaction selected for this study is an exothermic reaction between sodium thiosulphate and hydrogen peroxide. This reaction takes place in a well-stirred continuous chemical reactor. The perspectives of this work are to install the new reactor in our experimental setup. Then experiments will be carried out in order to reproduce a limit cycle.
