Overview of results inquiry among Eurokin members on the future aspects of currently used software packages for kinetic parameter estimation from experimental data. Software packages included are: Aspen Custom Modeler, Athena Visual Studio, gPROMS, KASTER + microKinetic Engine, Matlab, Octave, Presto Kinetics, and Python. The results were collected in a table to give an easy overview. The inquiry showed that all packages included are being further improved in the course of time, on functionality as well as in digital trends, although not at similar speeds.
