Introduction of the parameter estimation problem in a general way, overview of the challenges that arise from its application in practice, and explanation the solutions we provide within the smart DoE cycle. The developed methods are illustrated via the reference case on a cinnamaldehyde hydrogenation study that we used throughout the smart DoE cycle. Finally, we provide an overview of the different modules contained in our provided software package. The Python codes are available, and additionally, there are three instruction videos available.
