The report includes the solution of Eurokin parameter estimation problem 4, for simulation and estimation, in Python including the codes and discussion of the results. The PDEs are solved using the finite differences method in combination with an ODE solver (Solve_IVP, using the Runge Kutta 4-5 order ‘RK45’ algorithm). The estimation was done using the fmin procedure, which, unfortunately, does not yield any statistical information about the solution.
